Default vtec stuttering

Hi guys,

Anyone have a problem with your car stuttering while in vtech? Last night i was going home and opened my car up a little and in vtech it would pull strong then let off and then pull strong again and then die down again. It seemed like it wasnt pulling vtech at all around 7k and then my check engine light started flashing and then I let off the gas and the check engine light went away. Any suggestions? My car is bone stock.

Thanks,

Mike

Check your oil level.

BTW...if you haven't had your car long, bit of advice...check your oil twice as frequently as any car you've ever owned before. The early s2ks use oil faster than many other cars. Special banjo bolts squirt oil on the cyl walls to keep them cool while the pistons pass by at 9000rpm.

Try leaving the phone in the charger overnight.

vtech = phone

Vtec is what you have.

LOL. My bad Vtec. Will check my oil level after work. I also read something that it could be the MAP sensor wearing and changing the resistance or something. But I will check the oil first since it is less of a hassle. Thanks for the replies.

Good to know.

Hesitation during high rpms. Guessing while in vtec? Not sure.

But I did check the oil level and it was low. Tested it out and everything went smoothly again.
