Default VTECH Working?

How do you know whether if your VTECH is working properly or whether it is working at all?
is there a check you can do other that the extra kick you feel after 6000 RPM?

What's a "VTECH"?

If you want to know about VTEC, there are some things you can do. http://www.modifry.com/freebies/old/vtec/vtec.htm

Well, I turn it on and put it up to my ear. If there's dial tone, it's working.

If it's not working then check the cord, make sure it's plugged in securely. That's how you know that your vtech will work...
