warm engine missfire problem
Hi there,
I have had my s2000 for about 5000 miles, it has started misfiring on cylinders 1,2 and 4 but only when it gets warm. It is also bringing a knock sensor fault code up but i think this might be because of the missfire. It will missfire through the revs until you start to get above about 3000rpm. But the missfire stops at different revs each time. Also this fault happens quite a lot but it is intermittent and does not always happen. Sometimes it misses on idle too and some times it doesn't!
Anyone had any simalar problems?
or could point me in the direction of where I may find some help
its a 2002 car with 86,000 miles
cheers, Eddy
oh and I have tried injector cleaner and new spark plugs.

You might want to rule out a ground problem on your engine. If you don't have a good ground it could prevent your coil packs from firing.
Clean your engine ground contacts - disconnect, wire brush or steel wool, reattach. See if that helps.
