warranty issues

Default warranty issues

HI
I just got my AEM CAI install ,,,,and i don't know if my dealer warranty will end for this modification....because my right headlight is retaining water, and want to take it to the dealer to get it fix....

Take off the intake and put the airbox on. Then take it to the dealer and play dumb

It shouldn't void the warranty for anything other than the engine.

The CAI has nothing to do with condensation in your headlight but since it looks like your operating on an extended/aftermarket warrantee, the dealer may be able to void it based on the presence of aftermarket parts. It all depends on the language in your contract.

This is not the case with the original 3/36 warrantee, but since you're in a MY 2000 car, I suspect that this is not the case.

I further assume that you don't have cleared headlights?
