I need to replace a whole windsheild, anyone have any idea how much does it cause. And should buy it only from Honda??? Please help!!! too bad I was too shock to catch them until I realize it was from the bomb instead of road rock. Poor me=(

You may be better off getting a non-factory windshield. The stock windshield glass seems to be "softer" than the aftermarket ones that some people have used. My car is about a year old now, and I still have the stock glass. However, I have two big rock chips and HUNDREDS (no exaggeration) of tiny "pinmarks" that make it somewhat difficult to see through when the sun hits it just right. Try a search, but from what I remember, people have had better experience with aftermarket windshields.

I live in KY and for a variety of reasons (some accurate and some not) the state is often viewed as backward. However, here in backward KY, our legislature had the good sense to FORCE the insurance companies to replace any windshield damage WITHOUT imposing a deductable. The reasoning was that a damaged windshield caused visibility problems and thus was adverse to safety on the road. By requiring no deductable, the owner had no incentive not to have it replaced.
Seems like a damned good idea to me.

Does your state not have such a law? If not, you ought to raise hell w/ your representatives.

I priced mine out @ 600 if I pay. but the Glass was listed very high, like 2000 just for the glass. (remember this was list price)

Mine was also like DJ Qube's, the stock glass chipped very easy. The PGS replacement I have now it still free of any chips. I have had this on for 5 months.

I would buy the gasket from Honda, the Glass shop had a hardtime getting one. I think this should be OEM.
