Default Water in floor board

I just realized that the drivers side floor board of my S is SOAKED. I was reading about people finding water on the passenger side due to AC but I never use my AC and it's on the drivers side. Anyone have any ideas?

Is it water or coolant? Could be a leaking heater core

I'm pretty sure it's water although I didn't get a good look, I can't smell coolant. It smells like stale water. My carpet REAKS. I'm probably going to have to replace it

Edit: I'll look more into it when I get the chance. Probably early next week. I'll post my findings I was just curious if anyone else had this issue

Check the AC drain line for clogs.

Shouldnt have to replace it, happened to me in my dd because of a small hole on the floorboard + huge puddles

i just cleaned the carpet and put a fan on it for a day and it worked out great

Here are some pics of whats going on. This is after a very hard rain and NO driving. There is a puddle behind the driver seat and the floorboard is wet too. I have NO idea where it could be coming from.

Kinda looks like it is concentrated near the door on the driver side? I'd check all of the weatherstripping very well.

That's what I was thinking. The stripping APPEARS ok. I'm going to pull the seat, carpet, and panels out and sit in there while my friend runs a hose over that side of the car. See if I can narrow down the entry point. I'll take more pictures once I find it and how I fix it. My car smells like a swamp

Bet ya your drivers side drain is clogged with stuff. Same thing happened to me, the drain is located right at the front corner of where the soft top meets the frame. If you have small hands you can reach down in there and get some stuff out although you might need to use a long pair of needle nose
