I found today that I have water leaking onto the carpet on the passenger side floor. How is this problem fixed or is it due to excessive humidity in the air?

Worse still I found a small coolant leak on the garage floor under the engine... not the dreaded porous block I hope! Done 10k km. Anyone know/remember where the previuos engine water leaks came from; what part of the engine?

The water in the passenger footwell is from the AC. Check for a hose there. Sometimes the passenger can kick it. The water on the garage floor might be the same problem. Is it green? If not, it's just water from the AC condenser (humidity).

thanks for the reply cthree. the water on the garage floor is coolant - that is why I am worried... a/c leak on carpet is bearable.

Honda has issued a Technical Service Bulletin on this subject. It applies to both 2000 and 2001 cars. If your using the air conditioning during high humidity the fan can push excess moisture into the heater box and it will drip in the passenger side. It's a simple repair at the dealership. Since we still have snow here in MI, I didn't qualify for a repair yet! But it sounds like you might. It's free.

If you can't ask any nicer than that, look it up yourself.

Yep, that's the spirit of the board! Why don't you take the TSB and shove it. Ask a few questions dlq04, we will fall all over ourselves to help you out.
