I am planning to use this to catch oil between the first crankvent and the intake, as I seem to ingest a decent amount of oil there. Regardless of use though, which direction will catch the most fluid? I believe that I need the engine connected to the top, through the filter, then the intake on the side vent. Because wouldn't oil be less likely to travel upward? If flowed the other way, oil would deflect off of the center filter and drain down, but I could see some getting sucked up through the filter. So I cant decide, which way?? Thanks for the help as always guys!
