If you are asking if you can put a k24 with a type s or type r head in an S 2000, the answer is no. The k24 block is from the pilot and crv. Pairing that with an rsx type s or integra type r head yields major power in an rsx or new civic si. They are starting to make mounting kits for ek civics now too. Check out www.p1auto.com , he did this swap as soon as the new civic hatch came out in 2002. A stock type r motor makes 220 hp, you only get about 12 more from the larger block. Plus, it's a front wheel drive motor. Not only would it be next to impossible, I don't think it would be a good idea since the S 2000 arguably has the best motor in the honda lineup.

well, it being a FWD motor doesn't really matter. The key is if there was a tranny that would fit with that in the S2000.

The K series are showing A LOT of potential.. even the 2 liter in the RSX-S is making a lot of power with just simple mopds.

10-4. I had an ep3 (02 civic si hatch) and with aem cai, b pipe, spoon axle back, and jackson racing header, gained 22 hp over stock. My guy at p1 with the k24 block and type s head was 12 hp up over a type s. His kept the stock ep3 ecu. I don't doubt the potential of the k series having had firsthand experience tuning them. I just don't think it would be worthwhile to try to swap one into an S 2000.

The K24 is not offered in the Pilot, they are V6's only
