Default Weird drivetrain issue

When the car is in neutral, and I go 12-13 mph, the car feels as if it's running over something. Any ideas what it could be? 2002 185k miles just did trans fluid, hydraulics are working fine. I was rear ended in December of last year, since then I've had a loose axle nut which I tightened again. Car has all OEM clutch I put in @ about 137k miles, I also notice I get a vibration in the engine at 1,800rpm, not sure what that is, engine mounts are ok, as are the diff and trans mounts. I'm trying to figure out if this is related to the accident in any way. Clearly the car wasn't doing this before the accident.

What are the chances that a finger on the pressure plate is broken? That could maybe explain why it's been getting harder to get in gear, or why 3rd gear has been popping out occasionally? Or is it just an old transmission that's due a swap?

Can you elaborate? Does it happen once? Like a bump?

It feels like I'm driving off the side of the highway with those pits to let you know you're going on the curb. Albeit not as severe. Loose propshaft bolt maybe?

Probably right, it also happens when I coast in neutral at very slow speeds and turn. Will check it out this weekend. Either that or the diff

Sounds like diff. Possibly the ring gear missing a tooth. You could drain and see what comes out.

Reminds me of a mystery noise I had a low speed... turns out is was a small tire separation.

I have a tire with 2 inner patches, I'm getting ready to replace them all.

so you're saying this doesn't happen when you're in gear? only in neutral?

doesn't that pinpoint it to transmission related?
