Yes. He reported having issue both in and out of gear if im understanding correctly.

The original post says that the symptom appears when "the car is in neutral." Slowcrash?

Only in neutral at exactly 12mph. Drained diff oil came out clean no debris. Gonna have to pull the transmission. I'll save it for next weekend.

Well now it happens more often and the noise is coming from the transmission, so it's definitely that. Like I said I'll pull it next weekend, probably needs a new bearing somewhere, although for the cost its probably just cheaper to get a used box.

Finally got around to fixing this. No pics sorry, the clip where the fork pivots on was broken. All it cost me was a week and $12 to fix. I reckon the clunking sound was the fork slapping against the transmission case? Strange why it would only happen in neutral. Shifting has gone back to normal and the clutch pedal is light again.
