i have a problem i dont even know how to explain...well here it goes.. this started to happen a few days ago...when im driving...my car will turn off for less than a second n start back up...the idle is fine...usually it doesnt die..it just jerks a bit when i let off the gas it goes back to normal...everything flickers off as if i turn the car off but comes right back on..the problem gets more and more frequent...last night the car completely died tho..i popped the hood and my battery was smoking....and the wire was hot...tried to start the car but the battery was too weak...i waited 30 minutes and then the battery was fine again...but the problem was still there... i had my cel on for well over 6 months because i have a ctsc....i ran my ctsc for over a year....this is the first time i ran into this problem...can anyone help? btw all my fuses are fine...none of them are blown...

btw:none of the autozones near my house rent out ob2 scanners anymore =( so im out of luck on that..... also my cel went away now for some reason..pretty sure it will come back....the cel lights were throwing were o2 a while ago...idk about now

 

if i were you, i would take your car to a reputable repair show. this seems a bit to complicated to be fixed via the interweb.

What electronic modifications are you running?

 

hmmm...only way to find bad grounds is to go one by one right? its odd since i havnt done anything to the car for over a year....
no electronic modifications besides the little esm from ctsc...
