Default weird noise in 1st gear

today i was driving home on my 05 s2k and i stop at a traffic light . as soon as it turns green i put it into 1st gear and hear almost like a whinny rubbing sound as i let go of the clutch. when i get home, i put the car at a complete stop and try to figure out what the F### was making that noise.so pressed on the clutch no noise. i press on the clutch put it into any gear its starts making a horrible whinny/rubbing noise. the noise goes away when im actually driving. please help cant find anything on the forum.

"So I pressed on the clutch no noise. I press on the clutch put it into any gear its starts making a horrible whinny/rubbing noise."

The noise is when the clutch pedal is pressed to floor or released?

Change the tranny fluid recently? Lots of metal particles? What color?

Try that first. Give you a chance to see if there maybe signs of wear in the old oil. Maybe, simple oil change will help correct some of the problem.

Ugh, sorry to hear this. Is the fluid level in clutch master rez ok? Maybe, you can get away with simply bleeding the hydraulics.
