Ok guys I'm building my new s2000 and finally got it running, but when I tried running it threw the gears up on jack stands and it grinds going into 2nd and 4th, and won't go into 6th all together. This car was sitting outside in tall grass for About a year because previous owner thought he blew the diff, but it was just the axle. Lol

I'm kinda confused, think maybe the clutch it sticking or something. The guy I bought it off said the trans shifted good before parked (he's a friend and I trust him). Plus there is no way he was driveing it the way it's acting now.

I'm going to change fluid and re try but you guys got any suggestions to start looking at?

Car is an 01 with 95k miles on it.

It just sucks because I made an appointment to get a cage welded in it and now I'm going to have to tow it 2 hours away to get it done

possible I installed the shifter backwards? Lol

 

I'd check the clutch hydraulics, unless you have already.
