Helms Manual page 17-9
Nut E and Bolt F

The bolts are about 1" long which means you can lower your steering wheel up to 1" w/ some washers.

There you have it. I am not lowering mine as I am happy w/ the stock position but, just wanted to share w/ u guys.

If you lowered the steering wheel wouldn't the top of the steering wheel block your view of the "rainbow" tachometer?

For me, if a lower it a little I can look over the wheel and see the tach. Right now the top of the wheel is blocking my view.

Can anyone scan this page????

theres not much too it.

remove the plastic on the bottom of the steering wheel (3 screws)

There are 2 nuts near the top of the steering column, 12mm on about 1" studs. The are about 6" apart and the highest mounting point. You shouldn't have a hard time finding them.

The other 2 bolts are on a U shaped braket on the shaft from the steering near the firewall. They are 12mm too.

Those are what you need to add washers on. I don't have a scanner, but its a really simple thing to do.
