Default what is it for?

Hi,

been striping and cleaning the underside of the car , 2003 s2000gt, and noticed a switch which appears to be operated by the rear suspension linkage on the nearside of the car.

cant find any reference to it in the manual.

anyone know what it does?

Thanks

Andy

Pictures would be helpful. I can't think of anything I would describe as a switch in the rear.

I'll take a photo tomorrow.

there are 2 small linkages which are adjustable from the lower arm which takes the travel inboard under the boot floor where the switch assembly is mounted.

weve had the car since 2005, the parts look like its original honda stuff.

Sounds like it may be ride height sensor, used sometimes in air suspension auto leveling systems.

Do they look like the things the arrow is pointing to in the picture?

Its an S2000gt, a version we did not get in usa. Its probably something unique to that market or that model.

Agree probably a ride height sensor, like maybe for headlights or something.

Yes headlight level sensor, they are fitted on all cars with factory HID lights here in Europe.
