Default Question: about h/lamp height adjustment

Just wondering... S2000's have headlamp aim / height adjustment motors so where is the switch to adjust the aim????

it's automatic..

though if you have a JDM you need to do it manually.

hmmm... unreal.

I suppose like a load sensor, more weight in rear it will lower beam vice verca.

Clever stuff except for when you fail the MOT on headlamp aim

I think it picks up an angle between the subframe and the suspension arm.. as the suspension is loaded - it moves relative to the subframe and the angle changes.

They are adjustable, outside of the auto thing - the auto just makes small adjustments for inclines etc..

inclines?

it only adjusts every 3 minutes

isn't that adjusting screw exactly where the motor is for the auto adjuster.. i.e you can't have both?

hmmm I'll have a proper look, because one of my lights is out of line with the other, and it needs adjusting.

Maybe it can be manually done to get the right height and then the auto adjuster makes small adjustments

I never looked at the UK car..just going from the ESM info.. I had to play with the manual adjusters for my MOT on my JDM when I changed the ride height.

and whilst you are interested in headlights.. if you spot a drivers side for sale anywhere (MY01).. let me know
