most people end up "upgrading" their radiators when their OEM radiators fail. this happens because the OEM radiator utilizes a plastic cover that has been known to crack on older models.
thats why I did mine

lol, thats why i did mine too!

just one tip when you do the rad job.. be patient with the coolant. i found it was best to just run thru several heat cycles (one cycle = heat up the car with the heater full ON, then let it cool back to ambient) and refilling the coolant in the reservoir to the max line. each time, more coolant will get pulled until your coolant lines are air-free.

I did some rad hose changes on my oem rad this week, I dumped the Honda fluid and had a peek inside the rad. I was amazed how clean it was inside the rad, not one spec of deposits of any kind after 8 years and 55k miles. I'm sticking with Honda type 2 fluid it has worked well for me thus far.

I'd stay with the Honda fluid.

I'll make sure to run thru several heat cycles. Im probably going to stick with the oem stuff based on what I've read and what everyone is saying. Plus, Ive never had any problems with it.

all antifreeze is made in the same place. its outsourcing to other companys; ie. prestone, peak, and all store brands. STAY AWAY FROM DEXCOOL. Thats the orange shit. its similar to gasoline, companys add shit in in. I just did a full mishimoto upgrade last night in my 04. rad, hoses, thermo, fan switch, cap. 2 bottles of royal purples engine ice and 50/50 prestone. before this upgrade, my 04's temp before upgrade was 8 bars. now it stays between 4 and 5. sometimes 3. ambiant air temp was around 60deg. i hope this helps.

lol, wut? DexCool is perfectly fine and does a good job for it's intended application, Honda vehicles not being one of these.

Also, I would not run Prestone 'green' coolant as it is heavy in a silcates. Honda, as well as other Asian manufacturers, have gone out of their way to design long life, silicate-free coolants that ensure long and efficient cooling system lives for your vehicle.

Remember what should be remembered, and forget what should be forgotten.Alter what is changeable, and accept what is mutable.
