Darn it, im down $18,500, bought the car 3 days ago. My motor blew. Complete novice in repairs, I think I need the main motor part, that DOHC V-TEC block and whatever is under that. One of my cylinders is messed up. Rod bearing and main bearing saddles got damaged. Anyone got advice on what I need and how much it will cost to fix those? How much is for parts?

Spun rod bearings were found by the mecahnic.

 

You bought the car 3 days ago, and managed to blow your motor? That's gotta be a record. We are gonna need a tad more info. Did you mis-shift?
