Default What gauges to use

well I am getting a sos a pillar soon and want to get a oil pressure gauge and water temp. While I will appreciate having the knowledge of the information of these 2 gauges it is more for show then go. I really know nothing about gauges and see there is a wide pricing variance. some electronic/mechanic etc. I dont want to spend 300 per gauge yet i want something that is going to work yet look good when lit up

Can someone help me. Also will thses gauges come with all the wiring for our cars to hook up or do i need add equipment as well

thank you in advance

The Autometer gauges come with no wires, no fittings. The higher end units like Defi do but you'd be looking at around 700 bucks for 2 gauges. Here's a couple of thread I had when I did my gauges:

Find out if you want to get a 52mm gauge or 60mm gauge. Which one is the sos pod made for? Also if you want mechanical gauge or if you are willing to pay for electronic gauge. Do you care if the gauge color lights up the same color as the interior color? Here's a greddy link to all their gauges and also a link from members on this board with gauges diff. gauge set ups. Contact me if you have any questions. I'll see if I can help you out. 703.961.9090

defi guages. Definetally more expensive than most but they are just absolute quality. defi provides alot of OEM guages for various japanese car makes, including Honda.
