I have never seen any dyno charts of the HKS vs stock that indicate power change either way.
Likewise, I don't think anyone has supplied a dyno plot which verifies HP gain by addition of aftermarket header ONLY. (Exclusive comparison.) I expect there is some HP gain to be had with a Mugen header, for instance, but no reliable data exists... at least, none that I've seen.

The sound alone is very nice. Not sure I like the
looks of the HKS (yes, i do have one on my S2000 though)
I think the Nuespeed version with those silly stop-sign
looking tips knocked off looks good!
HKS is fairly expensive for a mostly steel,
very heavy system. Sounds very very mellow and nice though
