royal purple 10w30 been using royal purple in all my cars and never had a problem with oil comsumption even when I smash on it. I track my cars regularly especially my Civic and it is been fine. I have this oil chart that they tested and which ones gave the best protectoin. Valvoline was the best bang for the buck ill try to dig it up again.
Here we go i found it. I think we should get this sticked.

I recommend Krank Vents!!!! I've used Mobil 1 10w30 forever and burned it off quite a bit. The day I added the Krank Vents I did an oil change. It has now been 2k miles and the oil is at the SAME level. This to me is.............amazing.

Invest in those little suckers. I am a huge proponent now.

Edited for the mistake. I'm sorry for my grammatical error.

I am currently using M1 10w-30 HM. I prefer an A3/B3 or A3/B4 rated oil over most of the "energy conserving" oils most people have suggested. At my next oil change I will be moving to M1 0w-40 for the same reason as above.

Go read over at BITOG and learn more about oil, so that you can make a better informed decision.

Most people here use Mobil 1, Amsoil, or Redline. I am personally using Redline right now just cause I have money to waste
