I have a place here local in Toronto that charges $120 CAD or you can look on ebay where if you buy it and pay shipping to the seller, they will do it and ship it back and that will cost 50-100 USD shipped back to you.

There is no SRS "reflash" available. Clearing a stored DTC does not equal reflash.

Can someone affirm that an ap1 seatbelt will work in a 2007 without setting off the SRS light? Granted as stated previously the buckle portion on the seat would have to be changed.

The belt on the passenger seat is mounted to the seat, not the floor like a AP1. The buckles are also different electrically.

I guess it is better to just look for 06-08 parts rather than try and get previous years SRS stuff to work.

The buckle switches are totally different. You'd definitely have SRS DTC's if you tried to use earlier car buckles.

I thought the buckle switch is just an open closed cirrcuit switch verifying the buckle is clipped, if so the only difference is the electrical connector which can be swapped

The newer buckles have a dual input buckle switch, which is monitored by the SRS unit. Previous cars buckle switch isn't monitored.
