Default What should I do?

took the car out for a sunday afternoon drive, then all in a sudden i see the smoke coming out of the J's racing hood air vent. Pull the car into one of the shopping plaza for a quick tech inspection....what come to in shock is that...

engine oil is all over the engine bay...

then..took out the paper tower and start to wipe off all the visible oil and start to drive the car home again with the speed of 50mph all the way.( no vtech or boost)

got home...open the hood...on my god.....the oil is all over the engine bay again.
and since i am did not boost the car on my way home...it appear to have less mess than the first quick stop at the shopping plaza. then again..take out the paper tower from the kitchen and start to wipe off all the oil.

but, what comes to surprise me is that.....the vtec mounting block is cracked.

what should I do now?
its a used comptech SC, will the comptech replace it for free?

any input is appreciate

I know several of these have broken, and Comptech did redesign the brackets for rubber bushings in the front mounting plate.
I'd call Comptech and tell them what you have. hopefully they will offer you a deep discount on the updated parts.

yes...i did call them today as soon as i am off from work.
and they told me.....i have 2 options

1- get the new designed vtech mounting bracket and replace it.($140)
2- get the whole new upgrade bracket.($490) which including all the pieces

I'd go for option 2 and not worry about breaking another mounting bracket.

Hey Jay, it's me Ted (remember me from the "Vortech" incident a few months back?)...sorry to hear about your Comptech problems...I hope you get things worked out...I say you go with option 2 and prevent anymore unwanted incidents in the future...good luck bro...
