Default What is the stock oil pan depth?

Just like the title says, what is the depth of a stock AP1 oil pan? Reason I ask is I'm considering building a Lotus 7 kitcar with an S2000 drivetrain. There is a dry-sump manufacturer that has a F20C pan that is 2.9" deep and I'm curious as to how much lower i can mount the engine in this chassis.

Thanks in advance,
-Zach

I'd say it is about double that. 6 inches maybe.

Chris Barry in Aus built a 7 for PRB with a F20C. He dry sumped it it for clearance and center of gravity.

The F20C is now the production drivetrain for PRBs but rather than dry sumping them they have a hump in the bonnet.
