Storing an engine for a future build
I have a F20C in my garage that is fully stock and complete at the moment. I plan on most likely fully building it in the future for boost however I would still like to preserve the stock components in case I decide to run it in its stock form.
The oil pan is cracked so their is no oil in the pan currently, I was thinking of putting some storage oil in the cylinders and turning it over a few times. Any other suggestions? Should I be in a hurry to get a new oil pan and fill it back up with oil?

I would spray and coat of oil on all the steel componets. You can also buy some desicant and put a bag around everything to keep the moisture down. Last but no least rotate the crank every once in a while and relubricate.
