Default What are these?

I got my S about a month ago. I've been slowly doing maintenance on it. About 3 weeks ago I found one of these in the engine bay, next to the coolant overflow tank. Then yesterday I found another one sitting next to the front bumper. Anyone know what this is? I imagine it's not important since the car is fine, but I don't like the idea of random parts just sitting around my engine bay.

Those brackets mount to your front bumper cover and bolt to the fenders to align the panels and keep everything secured. They are items 6 & 7 in the link below, you will need a special shoulder bolt to mount them to the bumper cover item 30.

Thanks guys. Whoever removed the bumper last time probably forgot these and just drive off. Lucky they were still there. I used a standard metric screw to secure it for now, but I'll probably order the right screw next time I order some OEM parts.

Since the parts diagrams didn't really help figure out where they go, I did some more digging and came upon this video, for the next guy, this may save you some time: https://youtu.be/RiCuFtTwiwg

My notes: I was able to just bend back the bumper and force it in place. If you're bumper paint is pristine, probably not a great idea, but if yours has stress cracks in the paint already like mine did, it'll save you a lot of trouble removing the bumper.
