Will I be able to fit a knob that's 10 x 1.25mm?
You're aware that 1.25 isn't 1.50, right?
What has the lenght of the thread got to do with this?

Ok ok..
You have to admit this was possible.. right?
There are people that do not know M10 x 1.50 means M10 thread with a thread pitch of 1.50mm.

The M10 x 1.25 will go on for about half a turn, maybe a full turn if your wrench is big enough.

Is 'lenght' Netherlandish for thread pitch?

If he really wants, he can drill it out and then use a thread repair kit.

Note to self: stop trying to be funny over the internet - it doesn't work (with dwight)
