what's best for your car depends on the conditions you drive it under. weather, driving style, etc.
it also depends on what matters more to you. money, oil change intervals, etc.
there is a TON of information on oil in the technical forum. there's a sticky/note at the top of the forum called "the oil journals". Read there, and you'll find the answers you're looking for.
