ill take a shot in the dark. maybe poor vacuum source to the map sensor at that load causing the timing map to be off. could be the way they plumed the sensor or synced them

 

Probably just the fancy AEM Infinity thats acting up.
Dave just wrote me this:
"We're fairly certain now it's a cam position filtering feature in the AEM that needs to be sorted out. AEM sent us some info on this so we'll be testing it out next week."

 

Disappointing that the car sat for nearly a year and then they put ITBs on it and now it doesn't run well. But they have lots of toys to play with.

That RPM range almost sounds like VTEC issues.

I was at Gridlife and tried to help them with the issue, as some other S2000 owners did. We offered parts of our cars to make sure theirs weren't faulty, but after trying just about everything, we came down it most likely being the tune or the ECU problem.

 

Did they try swapping alternators?
