I'm not sure I would want to do it, but these guys offer an a/c bypass belt. Same guys that have the hydro pulley. http://www.proautosportsinc.com/home.htm
By putting this on, but leaving the a/c system in........do you think you would notice any significant gains?

Although I've read when people go full race they do bypass the a/c (and the power steering), i don't think you'll notice significant gains; maybe you'll notice a little less power loss on the low end, but unless you're using it only for racing, i wouldn't worry about it or lighten your pocket on it

The Power steering is electric in the S2000. I am not sure how or why anyone would bypass it.

My tuner was concerned that removing the AC from the belt path would reduce the amount of contact patch on the water pump pulley too much. He said any gains were not worth the risk.
