Default WHATS WRONG WITH MY CAR?! Updated!

Ok this problem happens not all the time, but half the time as of last week. It seems every now and then when I press hard on the accelerator, whether im on a side street or freeway, my rpms go up, but I dont feel as much power as I should be. It almost seems as if Im in neutral kind of when Im actually in gear, but yet my car still accelerates! My rpms still go up, but not at a steady rate. What I mean by that is that sometimes my rpms are delayed, then shoot up fast. But when they do, thats when it sounds like my car isnt being accelerated as quick as it should be and my rpms sometimes shoots up rapidly after being delayed while pressing hard on the gas pedal. Even my VTEC isn't always as strong as it should be and Ive checked my oil. Could I be having a problem with my VTEC solenoid too? Anyways, when I press on the gas pedal gently, it feels and accelerates normally. So it seems this problem happens when I press hard on the gas pedal mainly. Im pretty sure this is still the 1st/original clutch since I got it used with only 43K miles and was owned by an elderly couple. Now it has around 55K miles and Im the 2nd owner. Ive had it for almost 2 years now. I'll admit, I drive my car kinda hard, but not REALLY hard. Also, my tires won't even spin like they should when I try to launch it at 6K! (I rarely launched this car too by the way) It sorta bogs and I release the clutch fast, so I know how to launch correctly. So is this all a clutch issue and how much will this cost me approxiamately if I wanna get another stock clutch if this one is bad? Or are stock clutches weak on our AP1's and if so, should I get a better/aftermarket clutch? Im kinda on a budget by the way. Or is this all not related to a clutch issue? What about a flywheel issue? Sorry this is so long, but we all know how paranoid we get about a car we love so much. Thanks!

Get a stock disk, upgraded pressure plate and a light weight flywheel... that will basically feel like stuck but make it fun to drive. RPM will move real fast thanks to the flywheel

an aftermarket clutch and lightweight flywheel combo should cause a dramatic difference.

A lot of people, including myself are happy with the ACT/Comptech setup. I like it, and it has been reliable for me for over 2 1/2 years now and nearly 40k miles with plenty of track time.

Silver9k- how would you grade the engagement compared to the stock PP?
