Wheel alignment/Convertible top questions

OK, well the consensus seems to be to let the car the way it is, which is fine as long as everyone else experiences this. Now that that issue is settled, I'm wondering whether or not to skip the alignment. Other than the tire wear, there's nothing wrong with the handling. It doesn't pull, snap, or push. If anything, I'd like to have the dealership put some weight in the driver's seat when they do the alignment, but for whatever reason, they won't.

Based on what you've read here, can anyone provide me with a reason to get an alignment? It's sounding like I'm trying to fix something that isn't a problem...

I can think of no reason other than your own peace of mind, to do an alignment at this time. In fact, if it turns out your alignment is presently good, sending it to an alignment shop may result in them making it worse.
