Default When does the open loop begins?

Hi all,

do you know when does the stock ecu stops reading the lambda and just use fuel tables?

I wish to synchro my V-AFC2 WOT point with the stock one.

THX

there is no set "point" for it to switch between closed loop and open loop, it happens at many different places under many different conditions

However, you're guaranteed to be open loop at 100% throttle, and you really only want to set your VAFC so it adjusts the fuel at pretty much 100% only, since any part throttle settings will eventually be negated by the stock ECU.

Thx for your reply, I noticed what you are saying in many V-AFC related posts (ECU compenste V-AFC settings when in closed loop).

However the V-afc2 allow to set the WOT point at a given percentage of the throttle.
If I apply what you'r saying there is no gain setting the V-AFC below 100%?

This strange as most of V-AFC users (such as pfb) are set around 50%.
That would mean, no gain untill the ECU is "open loop"???????
