Where can I get stock powdercoated brake calipers?
Since I am buying slotted rotors (direct fitment) to get rid of that nasty rust id like to powdercoat my calipers.
Local shop offered to powerdercoat it but i have to strip the calipers.
does anybody know where i can get stock powedercoated (professionally powdercoated) brake calipers? True I might as well go spoon but I wish not to buy wheels at this time. As far as I understand stock wheels and spoon calipers dont fit
any advice appreciated.

Rick's has great products, but I think their powdercoated calipers are way overpriced. You can take yours off of your car and go have them powdercoated for about $15 per caliper. Why pay $300 when you can do it for $60.

thanks, i dont know why i didnt think of the famous Ricks' accesories, but I guess ill probably just leave the calipers the way they are. 1135 just so they look good, although core exchange is a possiblity but I dont know the quality of the assembly...

RyanITV just opened up an awesome website that has his caliper decals that you see all the time on ebay and also some great caliper paint that i just ordered.
if you do a search, you'll end up finding some tutorials on how to paint your calipers professionally, and here's a link to ryan's paint:
http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/4,140.htm
tell him that i sent you.

If you have the contacts, don't mind delivering and picking up parts, have free labor, ready expertise, the rebuild parts available, and the tools needed, there is nothing to it. BTW, there are four calipers but with the brackets you can get charged for coating 8 small parts at $8 to $15 each, and sometimes a minimum that is higher.
I don't owe Rick anything and don't have those calipers on my car but do know how much work it is.
