For the sensor you might have to check the voltage on the throttle position sensor. One thing is the ECU locates about .5 volts when the throttle blade is closed and about 4.5 volts when its open, you could check this with an old voltmeter.

I think 06 is correct for the sensor type. However, 10 / 50 is too low for OBDII ECUs, since the VAFC would operate while the ECU is in closed loop mode. You need to raise the throttle settings to something like 70% to prevent the ECU from unlearning your fuel corrections. I set mine at 80% / 81%, and it ran much better.

The throttle settings are to tell the VAFC when to kick in. Why would you want the VAFC to do anything below full throttle? Are you trying to get an extra 2 HP at 50% throttle, when you could just give it 2% more throttle to get the same 2 extra HP? If you are just cruising along at partial throttle, let the ECU do its job alone.

At partial throttle, the ECU is constantly monitoring, adjusting, and learning how to achieve maximum fuel economy and minimum emissions. If the VAFC is making MAP corrections at that time, the ECU will just tune them out over time. The best settings I found for lo / hi is 80% / 81%.

I don't have my VAFC anymore, but ...

When I used the default 10% / 50% throttle settings, the car would drive perfect for a few days after an ECU reset, then it would start behaving poorly. It would hickup every now and then while driving slowly in parking lots, and it started feeling weak. Resetting the ECU every few days seemed to do okay, but I got tired of it.

Since I really didn't want the VAFC to do anything at partial throttle, I decided to change the throttle settings to 80% / 81%. This fixed everything. It drove perfectly all the time, with no hickups, and it stayed strong at WOT.
