Where does this screw in?

Hopefully this helps, too...
with a standoff, the air vacuum solenoid can screw right into the vacuum tank, which in turn will bolt to the rear of the front crossmember. If you see my diagram, the right hole on top of the vacuum tank...the solenoid can screw right into that with a standoff and maybe a longer screw.
The hookup looks almost right, but it seems in the second picture, the hose coming off the vacuum tank is hooked to the hardline and NOT to the manifold...but it's hard for me to tell for sure.
Your check valve (the white blister-thingy on the hose) could be backward...air should only flow IN to the manifold and not OUT of it...just make sure it's hooked up that way.

also.. loooking at your picture and looking this picture.
not sure if the ap1 and ap2 are the same.. but one of your hose looks like its plugged into the wrong place? (look at the fifth picture the hose that comes from the valve cover right in the center)
