morning guys i have had a sluggish problem with my car latly. its so shit in lower rpms. people told me to do a tune up its got only 46 000 kms. i checked spark plugs there ok cant seem to find the fuel filter i heard honda says the s2000 one is guarentee for life is that true? what are some other things i could do to see what its from? any help would be appriciated.

 

Fuel filter is in the gas tank. Major pain to deal with and obviously NOT meant to be serviced at regular intervals.

 

You could have a dirty air filter, clogged injectors, bad fuel pressure regulator, weak fuel pump, bad batch of gas, too much slack in the throttle cable. The list goes on.

 

My car is a tad sluggish too... I need to do some investigating

My air filter IS dirty
Injectors are clean
dunno about fule pressure regulator
dunno about fuel pump
several batches of gas with same result
throttle cable is tight.

Dammit i need a new air filter

 

Fuel Filter Take sapre out and all the panneling out of the roof well liner. Then Remove the cover and continue to remvove fuel pump. DOnt forget to open fuel cap to relieve pressure.
