Fuel Filter

Default Fuel Filter

Hey,
My 02 has 33k wanted to change the fuel filter wanted to know where it was located havent looked for it but figured i would ask anyways. I used to change em often on my hatch. The car runs good but i think its time for a new one. Any info would be appreciated thanx peace

The S doesn't have a fuel filter, it has a fuel sock located inside the gas tank. There is not a maintenance required for this sock.

Filter should have been changed at 30K service. If you want to pay me I can do it for ya.

There is no serviceable fuel filter that needs to be changed every 30K.

If someone tells you there is and charges you to replace it they are a criminal. The inlet sock on the fuel pump does not need to be changed.

since most hondas have hard to get to fuel filters.. well back den they did.. and honda just made them lifetime till u havea problem lol.. but since most u guys say the S dont need or have.. then i guess that answers that one

I tried to use the walbro sock when it same with my fuel pump and found that the oem sock fit better, it was still going strong after 70K
