Default Whirring or whining noise

Hello All,
I am getting a noise from what seems to be the front right side of the car(could be wrong). Its a whining noise, thats constant with speed, and continues with the engine on or off but the car moving.

If I hit the brakes, or turn the wheel, or put clutch pedal in or out, it remains. It seems to be a whirring noise, no grinding or scraping. I'll try to get a vid to capture the sound. Its almost like a bad power steering pump noise,,,,or a belt pulley. I'm running a vortech S/C but it makes the noise with the engine shut off and coasting downhill.

Wheel bearing? I searched and those noises seem to be a grinding sound.

Ideas?

Thanks!

Sounds like bad accessory belt and/or pulley bearing. No hydraulic power steering pump, on these cars.

In my experience the whirring noise has been bad wheel bearings.

Jack up the front wheels and spin them. You'll hear a bad bearing.

95% of the time an S2000 has a bad wheel bearing it will be in the rear.

Thanks Billman.

If its the rear, will I hear that as clearly when jacked up and spun?

If it's not a wheel bearing it could be tire(s)...some do get quite noisy. Hard to say without hearing it though.
