Default Who has bypassed the throtle coolant?

Hey guys,

I was thinking about bypassing the coolant lines into the throttle body to lower the intake temps, but i was wondering what if any side affects may occur. I live in the Central Valley of Cali so it hardly ever gets down to freezing temps around here. My car is a daily driver and I do have to worry about smog. So please fill me in on your experiances and how long have you been running this way?

P.S. Just to make sure, what lines do I connect to do this?

Not enough of an intake temp difference to really matter on our car.

I've read mixed reviews, people see lower intake temps from using different intake manifold gaskets, so it seems valid to me that this mod may have merit.

I haven't tried it, but what are the opinions of this being a useless mod based on?

do the hondata gasket, it blocks the coolant from ever getting there. done deal. and yes, that gasket make a ton of difference.

Block it and don't notice a difference at all. I wouldn't bother.
