Why does my car pull right when I upshift?

You got a bad tire, send both back because you'll never convince anyone which one it is.

Yep, one of the rears, has to do with the way they make the sidewall of the tire. Once in a while they goof. I had a flat one time and it pulled, then on a new set of rears it pulled . . . I thought, "Dang it, gotta pump those suckers up!" but the PSI was right where it needed to be.

It was tough returning the tires because there is no way to tell by looking at them, but I hope it has happened enough that resellers are aware of the possibility.

99% of the time when a new symptom crops up it is a result of the last change. IT IS THE TIRES!

no. our lsd isn't a clutch type lsd. it's a torsen gear unit. it'd either be working or not working.

"Ever since I put the new tires on, the car pulls to the right when I step on the clutch and upshift."

Sounds pretty simple to me.

Besides some sort of odd suspension problem that occured during storage, that is the only reasonable explanation.

Were the tires also in storage for a while before being put on? It isn't unsual for high performance long-time sitting tires to develop problems.

i would probably deflate the tire all the way just to make sure that all the sidings are mounted evenly. Then inflate them and check to see if they all line up on the sides properly. Ive had the same issue with my integra once where the bid of the wheels didnt line up properly and causing the car to act up. The other thing you can check is to see if your lug nuts are pressed all the way, sometimes youre rushing and u tend not to sit them good on the hub...Pls dont get offended by this but these are the things that can possibly happen...BTW my driver side is actually lower than passenger side by about an inch too. Its weird but i adjusted my coilvers a little to compensate for them and they ar e fine now. I just dont know if thats bad for the suspension or what...
