The nice thing about local shops is they tend to exceed expectations when problems arise.

Last night we swapped the fronts with no change. That took about an hour to remove, remount, and balance. As another step, we swapped the rears (without regard to rotation direction) and the car now pulls left off throttle. As most above predicted, at least one of these tires is bad. The shop is looking at getting another set.

One thing I noticed is the front tires were made in China. The rears were made in Germany. I guess the Chinese QC is a bit better than the German's this time.

 

How about how the roads you're driving have been worn. Our cars have a VERY narrown track and can be easily moved around by the "groove" made in the road by larger vehicle. Good Luck.

 

Tires and LSD. I had a Sentra Spec V that was FWD, but had an LSD. After 14k miles, I got a flat on my passenger size front, and replaced it with a new tire. After that, every time I would accelerate, the car would pull towards the curb, and then straighten out when I backed off.

I think the LSD was confused by the slight difference in tire diameter. I solved it by swapping the new front tire with a worn rear tire.

 

Maybe I'm ignorant, but this is the first time I hear that China makes tires for any big tire manufacturer. Will take some time to see how their products stack up in terms of quality.
