Can someone tell me the reason to spend an extra $1000 to get the comptech S/C with the aftercooler. If I don't get the aftercooler will i be taking a chance on hurting my engine? Are is it just for a few more hp and higher psi apps?

cooling the hot air is curcical. not only does it give you more power, but it is also makes it safer to be FI`d

 

It won't hurt UNLESS you run more boost than they have it set up for. I have been running withOUT one for 14,000 miles. 300WHP and No Probs.

I'm running 8lbs with no AC for over a year now. That said, I'm tuning with an AEM EMS for safety and not pushing as much hp as others with a similar set up. I also take it easy on hot days.

I'm in the process of organising an AC at present as any future upgrades definitely require it.

 

the a/c also makes it look better
