Default why is my tire on one side getting bald

I got an alignment and everything was in spec. my passenger rear tire is bald now and my driver side has 40-50% thread left, My two rear coilovers were bad and I was driving around like that. The ride was very bouncy. and my car has the vibrate cause of the driveshaft. I just change out the rear coilovers and will be getting spacers. Could the crappy ride quality have ate up the tire life?

Yes. Bouncy shock, differing grip, differential working overtime and tires wearing. Also by having a bouncy shock the tire isn't in good contact with the road and it's like scuffing your shoe on the concrete with each step.

"Cheaping out" on cars usually winds up costing more in the end, I've found.

Maybe the shop didn't torque all the bolts after the alignment. The settings might have shifted and it is no longer in alignment.

Bald tire is out of alignment.

Bad suspension would cause cupping. your suspension has nothing to do with it.

Post your numbers, I'll tell you where the problem lies

could also be tire pressure. If it's low it will wear a lot faster.

Is it wearing more on one side of the tire or do you mean on one side of the car?

If its one side of the tire I'd say you camber angle is off
