Wierd Electrics
Hi Guys
I've had my s2k for about 6 months, and all has been fantastic up until the last week. When the drivers side auto window stopped working, the Cd auto changer seems to have disappeared from the standard stereo and yesterday morning after the car had just been driven it refused to turnover.
luckily I was able to jump start it ( how embarrassing ) and it has started fine since.
I'm not technically experienced with this sort of stuff but quite mathodical if anyone has an idea where to start.

The window problem is quite common on several Honda cars, and may be intermittent for months before it breaks completely. The fix is to have the dealer replace the window motor mechanism. It contains a pulser circuit that is used for the auto-down feature and when it craps out the auto-down stops too.
The other fix is to get the Auto-Loc modules and you get the benefit of auto-up also. Do a search and you'll find lots of info on the problem and the solutions.
