Default My first S2000 mechanical problem

My first problem with the car (currently 20,000 miles) is that when putting down the top, the driver side window, instead of going all the way down, is going down about 1/3 of the way. Then when the top is down I have to use the window button to put it down the rest of the way. Anyone have this problem and know where to start?

Passenger side works fine.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen this problem on the board before, it is a known issue. You are going to have to search for this one, I know it has been gone over here before but I can't remember what exactly the fix for it is.

the problem is the window regulator gets dirty and malfunctions.

if you have a service history with the dealer, it will very likely be covered by goodwill if you show them the TSB.

Your window regulator is kaput. Honda has a TSB on this. Are you still under warranty? You can try the window "reset" trick but this may only be temporary. Use door button to lower window. Hold it till you hear a click. Raise the window and continue to hold the button till you hear a click. Shut off key and turn back on. See what happens.
ps. Common!
