Default Will a Spoon ECU work on an 04 S2000?

I am thinking about buying a Spoon ECU for my 04 after I do some valvetrain work later on, but I was going to go ahead and buy this used Spoon ECU at my local shop because it's such a good deal. I was just wandering if it would work being as the Spoon ECU is based on the 2.0L instead of the 2.2L. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I would say no, but I'm not an expert on the subject. The Spoon ECU, like most JDM mods, were made for the 2.0L engine. Besides the displacement difference, there are many other differences (torque curve, rev limit, air/fuel, other mapping). I think since the 2.2L is only being released in the USDM market, finding JDM mods like ECU upgrades or cams, will be near impossible.

Everything else aside, the Spoon unit isn't that great an ECU to begin with.
