I would say yes since the engine block is the same. In other words, it should bolt up that same as the '00 to '03. But, you will probably get more power from the newer '04 because of it's stroke length. I think the average will be around 300hp at the wheels instead of 280 to just under 300 for the older models. But don't quote me on this.

The compression was only raised by 0.1. Yes, it should be able to handle the same amount of boost that the base Vortech or Comptech puts out.

Keep in mind that the pulleys will have to be revised, since the engine has a lower redline, otherwise you won't make full boost.

I think it will not work. The engine managment has not been create/tested and released. Vortec just installed one of theirs on a MY03 about 1 month ago. And that was a beta.

In short, it will take some level of demand for the vendors to even start to consider spending the cash needed to release a version for the MY04s. So it is going to take some time (about a year I guess) before you see anything.

Remember the MY04 run leaner then the MY00-03's. And Lean + Boost = Detonation.

You probably can. Assuming it fits physically I doubt there would be any tuning issues. The Comptech doesn't even do timing so as long as you can locate the MAP line (and I expect it hasn't changed) you can do all the electronic bits of the job in 2 minutes.

If I were doing it I'd be sure to use at least an E-manage and get it tuned though. You never know what surprises Honda have added to the '04 (apart from and extra 150cc).
