Default Window won't roll up

Well tried to do a search but, the search function is not online. I can't roll up my window every time i push the button i can hear the motor moving but, the glass window stays in the passenger side door.

any help and temporary fixes would be greatly appreciated. already rained in my car today. want to get this taken care of asap.

Thanks.

Turn the master switch on. It's above drivers side window switches.

if you can hear the passenger motor when using the switch. window bolt or window regulator could be off track.

does the top still work? i heard that the top ecu and passenger window are linked so that could be bad

More than likely a bad window regulator. I've had to replace a few on customers cars.

A "temporary fix" would be take the door panel off, unbolt the glass from the regulator, and find a stick (PVC pipe works well) and put inside the door itself between the bottom of the glass, and the bottom of the door to keep the window up.

thanks C Ory,

well the cable snapped going to the motor. is there a way to buy just the cable or do i have to buy the whole assembly, motor and all.

going to try unbolting the glass from the regulator.
